Pilates For Beginners

Imagine – a Pilates For Beginners Exercise Program that you could use in the privacy and comfort of your own home, that starts at a beginner level and teaches you all you need to know to safely and effectively practise Pilates to ensure you get all the benefits:

But there’s a problem.

As qualified Pilates Instructors we have read many beginners Pilates books, watched countless Pilates videos and have scoured the Internet looking for a book or DVD we could recommend to clients who due to time or money constraints couldn’t always make it to our private classes.

We’re not Pilates Gods or Goddesses (which will be obvious once you’ve watched one of our videos!) we’re well…ordinary. We make no claims to be the greatest Pilates instructors in the world, but what we’re good at is teaching Beginners Pilates. Because it’s what we do, six days a week.

We only teach beginners Pilates so we’ve not forgotten what it’s like to be a beginner. This is a beginners Matwork program requiring little or no equipment although we will show how to use simple and inexpensive equipment like bands, balls and rings.

We’ve decided that the best way to ensure people progress at a safe pace is not to overload them with exercises they are not going to be able to do at the moment. But human nature being what it is would attempt because they’re there. To prevent that from happening we’re going to release the program in monthly chunks.

This has the advantage of ensuring you are not overloaded with information until you’re ready for it and yet you can still progress at a good pace.

This Beginners Monthly Pilates Program is a work in progress and with a fair wind should be ready by the beginning of March 2010.
